Cause of death in the city of London, 1647-1627. Eight were killed by “wolf” over this 20 year period. I found this in Edward Tufte’s book “Beautiful Evidence”. This is a fantastic book by the way. Brilliant work and a rare gem of a book with respect to the publishing quality.
